The Murujuga Living Knowledge Centre

Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation, in partnership with the State Government, Woodside Energy, is currently involved in the design of the Murujuga Living Knowledge Centre (MLKC). The MLKC will provide a state of the art interpretive centre for the rock art and the Aboriginal law and culture of the area. In addition, the MLKC will serve as the operational base and headquarters for the Murujuga Rangers, and cultural tourism activities on Murujuga. It is envisaged these conference facilities, interpretive centre, high quality café, employment opportunities for the rangers will add value to visitors having an enriching cultural experience in what is a popular location.

The MLKC is an exciting development. It has been earmarked for construction and operation in 2017. This is an important obligation promised under the BMIEA Agreement.
