Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) are excited to announce the first Murujuga Expo!

Supporting MAC members and the local community in achieving their business and employment goals, we would love to see all our MAC members and community members attending, everyone is warmly welcome.

What can I do at the Murujuga Expo?

The Murujuga Expo will deliver the latest information and support available to best assist local businesses and promote employment and training opportunities.

10:00AM Welcome to the Murujuga Expo

10:30AM How to become a Ranger at Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation and learn about the Murujuga Land & Sea Unit (MLSU)

We will explain and run through how you can apply for upcoming Ranger positions with the Murujuga National Park team and the Murujuga Fee For Service Ranger Team. You will also have the opportunity to apply for current vacancies. If you may be interested in applying on the day, please bring valid photo ID.

We will explain the roles, duties, training opportunities and some of MAC’s strategic goals for the MLSU.

11:15AM Get help applying for jobs from EPIC

We will be connecting job seekers to;

  • Resume writing support, and
  • The Job and Skill Centre to assist with the job application process.

11:45AM Learn about TAFE courses and training

TAFE staff will be available to answer your questions in regards to upcoming courses and provide information on what you need to know.

LUNCH

You will also have the opportunity to liaise with business and career representatives from our region, ask them questions about their industry or business, connect with companies of interest and find out how they can help you achieve your business and employment goals.

MAC Members and the new Business & Employment Development Unit (BEDU)

1:30PM MAC Member BEDU

MAC members will also be invited to meet with our consultants and those involved in the MAC member Business and Employment Development Unit (BEDU) during and after the expo.

Our consultants from Hall Chadwick will be attending and have the important role of helping to link our members with a wide range of employment and business opportunities outside of MAC. They’ll be onsite to answer your questions and assist you with your business or employment journey.

You will also have the opportunity to complete our seven-minute BEDU survey to help identify and match you with contracting and employment opportunities for upcoming developments, including the Woodside Burrup Hub.
